1. About the service

Talaash is a hyperlocal marketplace that connects clients with local service providers (such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and other helpers). We provide the platform; the actual services are delivered by independent providers, not by Talaash.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
• You may use the app only for lawful purposes.

3. Bookings & payments

• Prices, availability, and service details are set by the providers.
• Any payment terms agreed between a client and a provider are between those two parties.
• Talaash is not responsible for the quality, timing, or outcome of any service performed by a provider.

4. Conduct

You agree not to misuse the app, harass other users, post false information, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Identity verification

Some features use optional ABHA / Aadhaar-based verification. Where you choose to verify, you confirm that the identity details you provide are your own and accurate.

6. Limitation of liability

The app is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Talaash is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app or from services arranged through it.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
